Our lab is an engine
for new ideas
Explore questions about useful technology through focused experiments, explicit assumptions and clear evaluation criteria.
A good idea needs a credible route to use
A prototype is only one part of a new service. Discovery also needs to consider who will use it, how they will find it, what it costs to operate and which constraints could prevent adoption. These questions shape a useful experiment before development expands.
From a question to a testable approach
Our research direction connects technical feasibility with the setting in which a system would be used. We frame a hypothesis, choose a bounded experiment and define the evidence that would support a next step.
A useful test makes its limits visible. We consider data quality, integration, security, human oversight and operating cost alongside the behaviour of a prototype.
The value for our partners
A focused exploration can clarify an uncertain decision before a larger delivery commitment. The output should explain what was tested, what remains unknown and which next step the available evidence supports.
